OPENING EVENT

NEW PERSPECTIVE OF STRENGTH & RESILIENCE

Join us on Wednesday, November 13th  as we remember Sunday, September 15, 1963, when the world  mourned the loss of four young lives as a result of senseless murders. No matter your race or religion; no matter your politics or social status – everyone paused upon hearing that the Sixteenth Street Baptist Church was bombed, killing four little girls and providing a whole new perspective on the STRENGTH & RESILENCE of Birmingham.  The opening event will consist of a 60 minute program in the sanctuary of the Sixteenth Street Baptist Church, followed by a reception at the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute.  We will end the evening, by supporting local Black Businesses during a curated experience.
