Carmen Ortiz-McGhee is the Chief Operating Officer of the National Association of Investment Companies (NAIC), the largest network of diverse-owned alternative investment firms in the United States. The NAIC’s 194 member firms manage over $408 billion in institutional capital. In her role, Carmen provides strategic oversight of the organization’s operations, programs and initiatives, membership engagement, and marketing and communications.
Carmen is a proud graduate of the University of Virginia, where she serves on the Alumni Association Board of Managers. She also serves as Chair of the Governance & Nominations Committee of the Communities In Schools national board, sits on the Hispanics in Philanthropy PowerUp Fund Impact Cabinet, and is a member of the MBA Fund I Investment Committee.
