NAIC NextGen Symposium
The National Association of Investment Companies (NAIC) is the largest network of, and trade association for, diverse-owned private equity firms and hedge funds. NAIC’s membership consists of 111 firms representing over $178 billion in assets under management. NAIC’s LP Meetup gives institutional investors an opportunity to connect with NAIC and its members, discuss investment priorities and asset allocation strategies, learn about diverse managers’ documented outperformance, and meet new managers. NAIC and its members have engaged with over 80 capital allocators, who manage over $3 trillion in assets collectively, via the Institutional Investor Roadshows.
A series of intensive virtual sessions dedicated to educating and empowering a new generation of ethnically diverse and female general partners. The curriculum is designed to train individuals who have recently launched a fund or are seeking to launch a fund within the next 12 months. Topics covered include: entrepreneurship, seeding, partner selection, attracting capital, fund administration, legal considerations, risk mitigation and more.
