Laureen Costa is a 30-year veteran of the investment management industry. She is a founding member of the Private Equity Group at JP Morgan Asset Management. With her founding colleagues, she built the team, products, and processes to create a $30+ billion assets under management private equity business. During her career, she established the Group’s London office, was on the Investment Committee, and is a highly sought after conference moderator as well as guest lecturer at Tuck School of Business and Harvard Business School.
Laureen began her private equity career in 1994 at the AT&T pension fund working on both buyout and venture capital investments. When AT&T restructured in the 1990’s, Laureen and six other professionals lifted out of AT&T to create the Private Equity Group at JPMorgan Asset Management in 1997.
Laureen earned a BA, Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude, from Bucknell University and an MBA from The Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees and the endowment’s Investment Committee for Bucknell University.
