Laura Skiles leads a U.S. Bancorp Impact Finance team that invests in impact-focused private equity and patient investments to CDFIs and other intermediaries. Before joining Impact Finance in 2009, Laura managed a team of NMTC and HTC originators who secured tax equity funding for projects that ranged from food banks and performing arts centers to grocery stores and historic hotels. She also managed a team responsible for a large portfolio of renewable energy investments driving access to clean energy for communities around the country. Laura is a board member at Urban Strategies Inc., and a member of the Rockwood School District Equity Council in her local St. Louis community. She holds an M.B.A. with an emphasis in Project Management from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from HBCU, Lincoln University.
