What you need to know before the Advance.
The Live Well Advance Conference & School Summit brings thousands of partners and stakeholders together to network, learn about new tools and best practices, and participate in breakout sessions. Leaders from every sector come together to participate in efforts to advance our shared vision of a healthy, safe, and thriving San Diego region.
The Live Well Advance Conference & School Summit takes place on Thursday, November 21st at the San Diego Convention Center.

We will communicate any changes or updates on our website and inform registered participants via email prior to the Conference.
The Conference will open on Thursday, November 21st with the following:
- 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM – Registration
- 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM – Connection Hub
- 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM – Keynote Presentation
- 10:40 AM - 10:50 AM – Live Well on Wheels (Live WoW) Bus Tour #1
- 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM – Concurrent Sessions #1
- 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM – Lunch/Networking
- 1:15 PM - 1:25 PM – Live Well on Wheels (Live WoW) Bus Tour #2
- 1:45 PM - 2:45 PM – Concurrent Sessions #2
- 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM – Concurrent Sessions #3

We highly recommend registering in advance for the Live Well Advance Conference & School Summit. This event typically sells out, and there is a limited number of tickets available. While we strive to accommodate as many attendees as possible, day-of registration is not guaranteed due to capacity restrictions.
To secure your spot and ensure you don’t miss out on this valuable experience, we encourage you to register early. Once tickets are sold out, no additional registrations will be accepted.
We suggest comfortable shoes — you’ll be doing a lot of walking from session to session and navigating the Connection Hub. Business casual dress is what most attendees opt for, but we also recommend that you dress in layers as the conference rooms can get chilly.
All attendees at the Live Well Advance Conference & School Summit must be registered attendees who registered for the Conference.
Attendees are welcome to take video during optional events, networking sessions, and non-educational portions of the Conference. However, to ensure a focused and respectful learning environment, we kindly ask that no video recording be done during educational sessions.
There are no restrictions on photography, but we encourage attendees to be mindful of courtesy and appropriate timing when taking photos. Please respect the privacy and preferences of other participants.

Yes, as a registered attendee of the Live Well Advance Conference & School Summit, you will receive regular email updates leading up to the event. These updates will keep you informed about important details such as agenda changes, speaker announcements, special event highlights, and logistical information to help you make the most of your Conference experience.

During the Live Well Advance Conference & School Summit, morning and afternoon coffee will be provided. In addition, we are delighted to share at this year's Live Well Advance Conference & School Summit, we will be hosting food stations to allow for more networking opportunities and food options that will accommodate a variety of dietary needs. This lunch style will allow you to select the food options that are right for you. All menu items will be clearly marked with dietary symbol cards.
The attendee list will be accessible through the official mobile conference app. You’ll be able to view and connect with fellow attendees who have opted to participate. However, please note that some attendees may choose to opt out of being listed on the app, so their information will not be available.
We respect the privacy preferences of all participants, and the app provides a convenient and secure way to network with those who are open to connecting.
