Karen Connolly - Good for Others Foundation
Amanda Berry - Health Center Partners of Southern California
This session will focus on the upcoming changes to Medi-Cal that will make it more difficult for community members to enroll in the program including the new work requirements and the six month redetermination requirement. Together we will identify a collective impact approach for community partners to collaborate on mitigating the impacts of these changes. Through this collective impact approach across multi-sector partners we will ensure that San Diegans are able to keep their benefits.
Learning Objectives
1. Participants will have a clear understanding of the new Medi-Cal rules impacting access
and eligibility.
2. Participants will be able to identify their organizations unique role in helping community
members access or keep their Medi-Cal benefits.
3. Participants will leave with an action plan on how their organizations can be a part of a
larger collective impact approach for supporting community members access and keep
Medi-Cal
