Emily is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is passionate about integrating mind, body and spirit into her daily work. She holds a Masters’ Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University in Southern California.
Emily integrates mindfulness into both her personal and professional life. A passionate student of mindfulness in her own personal journey as a young athlete during her adolescence, she also engaged mindfulness in her spiritual journey and then learned the mental wellness benefits for herself as a new mother and therapist during graduate school.
In her career, Emily works with individuals, couples and families and integrates mindfulness techniques into her therapeutic work and supports them as they integrate mindfulness into their daily lives. Trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and other mindfulness and body based psychotherapeutic modalities.
Emily also has experience working with and speaking to performance athletes as they integrate mindfulness and visualization based skills to help them reach their peak performance.
