Description

Laws and regulations around information sharing are often cited as one of the most significant barriers to strong partnerships and collaboration that change outcomes for children and youth. Did you know San Diego has a longstanding agreement to facilitate information sharing across partners? The Global Oversight and Analysis for Linking Systems (GOALS) MOU began in 2009 and led to the identification of key trends and new solutions for addressing human trafficking of children, chronic absenteeism, and other challenges. Join us for the opportunity to do more as we broaden our efforts around data sharing and solution building to address the many challenges children and youth in San Diego are experiencing today. Youth-serving partners across all disciplines, including education, law enforcement, behavioral health, juvenile justice health care, and more, are invited to attend this session and learn about cross-system collaboration CURRENTLY taking place in our county.
