Mara Madrigal-Weiss is the Executive Director of Student Wellness and School Culture for the San Diego County Office of Education. She leads various efforts at the SDCOE, including mental health and wellness initiatives, foster youth, homeless education, and the AmeriCorps program. Mara serves as a Commissioner on the Mental Health Services Oversight Accountability Commission (MHSOAC). Her tenure as Chair of the Commission is a testament to her ability to drive change and positively support the lives of children and youth everywhere. She passionately advocates for all things life and wellness-enhancing, is authentic, and appreciates laughter and kindness above all else.
