Description

Join us for "Building Age-Friendly Communities: Partnerships for a Livable Future," where we explore how AARP CA (San Diego) leverages partnerships to advance its Livable Communities Initiative and the Age Friendly Network. As the population of older Americans grows, this initiative aims to create communities that are great for people of all ages and abilities by addressing AARP’s Eight Domains of Livability: Outdoor Spaces and Buildings, Transportation, Housing, Social Participation, Respect and Social Inclusion, Work and Civic Engagement, Communication and Information, and Community and Health Services. The session will showcase regional success stories, demonstrating how partnerships are essential for building inclusive, thriving communities. Attendees will gain practical tools and strategies for fostering livable environments that benefit everyone in our region.
