Nancy Maldonado is the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer at Rady Children’s Hospital where she is a key leader in providing institutional vision, thought leadership, and strategic direction within the executive leadership and hospital operations teams. Her specific focus is to design and deliver a mission-centered strategy and programming to increase diversity, ensure equity, and promote inclusion across the health system.

Nancy has provided expert testimony for the California State Assembly’s Committee on Health and has held a statewide elected position and a regional appointed position. She was also recently named a 2023 Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer to Know by Becker’s Healthcare.
