Misti Rodriguez-Gyamfi is the Trauma Injury Prevention Coordinator for UC San Diego Health. She has over 10 years of experience in the violence prevention and intervention field, with a focus on intimate partner violence, sexual assault, suicide and crisis. Her work has spanned curriculum development and training facilitation, trauma-informed case management and advocacy, and non-profit leadership and grants management. Misti loves teaching healthy relationships, resilience skills, and empathic communication in the community and she is invested in doing work that upholds her values around equity and anti-oppression. She is a Certified Community Resiliency Model (CRM)® Teacher.
