Tracy Schmidt facilitates the certification course for the Supervisors of Attendance for the San Diego County school districts and is a faculty member and coach for the SDCOE Improving Chronic Absenteeism Network (ICAN). Prior to her time at the SDCOE, Tracy worked for 13 years as a Student Services Administrator within two North County school districts. In her student services position, Tracy oversaw the coordination of a comprehensive attendance intervention program. Tracy has a Master’s degree in Social Work with a Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Social Work and Child, Welfare and Attendance and a clinical social worker license.
