In life and with love, Courtney builds collaboration to effect systems-level change. With nearly twenty years of experience in youth development across multiple U.S. cities and countries, she applies lessons learned to her role in public policy. Currently serving as the Vice President of Public Policy and Advocacy at the YMCA of San Diego County, Courtney focuses on enhancing access to quality child care, youth services, and access to the outdoors. Additionally, Courtney facilitates the Children First Collective, sits on the Partnership for Children and Youth Board, serves as a Trustee for the High Tech High Foundation, and recently took on the role of Girl Scout Troop Leader. On weekends, she can be found sharing jokes while gardening with her kids.
