The Children First  Collective brings together an effective group of organizations and people to tackle the challenges of childcare throughout our SD County Communities.  The group is made up of child care providers, parents, agencies, community leaders, and advocates, all working to ensure our childcare system benefits all children, families and childcare providers. We believe by working together we can make a difference. At this session, the panelists will bring a real perspective of the connection between education, economy and equity in childcare.  Real life case studies will also be shared to help our audience understand the intersectionality between these three focal areas and how other sectors such as community organizations, employers and others can be part of the solution.
