Danielle Kochman has been with the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) since 2006 where she initially joined the Transit Planning team at SANDAG managing specialized transportation grant programs, capital projects, transit planning studies, and supporting Bus Rapid Transit implementation. In her current role as the Manager of Strategic Partnerships, Danielle oversees the development and implementation of programs that leverage new partnership models, emerging technology, and new delivery models to facilitate implementation of SANDAG's Regional Plan and its transformative vision. She is passionate about exploring opportunities to infuse more innovation and ingenuity into the agency’s projects and programs. Danielle received her undergraduate degree in Economics at UC San Diego, completed a certificate program at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, and began her career as a Regional Planner at the San Joaquin Council of Governments.
