Emma Gonzalez Roberts is the Chief Operating Officer at TREND Community Development Corporation, a non-profit whose mission is to strengthen commercial corridors in majority-Black neighborhoods and build wealth for low-and moderate-income community investors. Emma has over a decade of experience advancing equitable community development through roles at a non-profit affordable housing developer, city government, and a health tech start-up. Emma received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago and holds a master’s degree in city planning, with a focus in Housing and Community Development, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
