Lift Orlando welcomes Mark Shamley, its first-ever Vice President of Community Impact, to the executive leadership team. Shamley brings extensive experience in fostering collaboration between the non-profit and private sectors. More recently, he joins the Lift Orlando team from Worldwide Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), where he oversaw global citizenship efforts for the sports entertainment company. Prior to that, Shamley was the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for The World Federation of Youth Clubs (WFYC), an Orlando, Florida based international youth development organization, that recently spun-off from Boys & Girls Clubs of America. There he launched and coordinated programs across 55 independent Club affiliates located in 29 countries and currently serving over 300,000 young people globally.

Shamley knows the Central Florida community well. He worked at Tupperware Brands where he was Vice President of Sustainability & Global Social Impact. Prior to that, he led the Association of Corporate Citizenship Professionals (ACCP) for 12 years as its President and CEO, growing membership to more than 190 corporations and reaching thousands of CSR executives, with aggregate annual contributions exceeding $5 billion in financial and in-kind support to causes around the world. He also was responsible for helping the Orlando Magic secure $1.1 Billion in funding for the community venues project that led to a new events center, the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center and renovated Camping World Stadium during his time as the basketball franchise’s Vice President of Community & Government Affairs.

Mark has extensive civic engagement experience on a national and local level. He currently is the Vice Chair of BoardSource Board of Directors, an organization that advances excellence in non-profit governance and board leadership, he was the former board chair of the Wise Giving Alliance a national charity evaluation and rating organization that sets standards for non-profit performance, and locally served on the board of Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida and chaired the Kissimmee-Osceola Chamber of Commerce board.

Early in his career at Boys & Girls Clubs of America, he was a member of the strategic partnerships team that forged successful alliances with global brands such as Coca-Cola, Major League Baseball and Best Buy. Fast-forward to his tenure as Executive Director of the Orlando Magic Youth Fund and ongoing volunteer work as a mentor, Mark remains a steadfast advocate for investing in young people through meaningful transformative experiences.

Mark has an MBA in International Business from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College and is certified in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion from Cornell University. He currently resides in Orlando, Florida with his three adult children, Marc, Martina and Johnna.
