Purpose Built Communities and the Purpose Built Network partner with residents to execute a holistic model for equitable revitalization in neighborhoods around the country experiencing the effects of historic and chronic race-based disinvestment. Part of the success of our work depends on our narrative and communications strategies. This workshop will explore research and practice-based approaches for telling affirming stories about people, place, and race, lifting the inherent dignity of neighbors and their neighborhoods.
