Allison Lane, AIA, NOMA, ASID, NCARB, NCIDQ, LEED AP, WELL AP, is a Senior Associate and Housing Studio Lead at AECOM. Her 16+ years of experience span award-winning architecture, interior design, and real estate development projects across 7+ million square feet of property, totaling over $6 billion in construction costs across multiple sectors. Allison leads AECOM USA’s first formalized multifamily studio, managing projects for private developers and public agencies, including the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA). Recent NYCHA projects include serving as a Design Program Manager for the Comprehensive Modernization updates at multiple locations and the Program Manager for the Physical Needs Assessment of the Authority’s $78 billion portfolio-wide capital needs. Allison is the 2023-2024 President of NYCOBA NOMA, the New York Coalition of Black Architects and New York NOMA Chapter. Allison led the growth of NYCOBA NOMA with an increase from four to ten active committees and 30+ events and initiatives per year, reaching over 300+ professionals and 200+ students. Allison’s presidential term focused on expanding chapter operations, intergenerational mentorship, outreach to local student chapters, and advocacy for equitable firm owner opportunities with local government agencies. Allison is a 2025-2026 American Institute of Architects Next to Lead Fellow.
