Richie Hands is an award-winning architect and the National Co-Chair of NOMA Project Pipeline, Co-chair NOMA Educate Committee, the VP of Membership and Secretary on the AIA Chicago Board of Directors, Secretary and Director on the ACE Chicago Executive Board of Directors, and on the CDS Advisory Committee and Project Architect at Gensler Chicago. Richie has over 14 years of experience in commercial office interiors, adaptive reuse, repositioning, tenant amenities, residential new construction, healthcare and large-scale developments in all phases of the design process. I am incredibly invested in mentoring the next generation of designers of all backgrounds and doing everything I can do to help make the Architecture, Construction and Engineering profession as diverse, thoughtful and equitable as possible and was awarded the UW-Milwaukee Alumni Graduate of the Last Decade Award in 2023 and the AIA National Young Architect award in 2024.
