Jennifer Finley is a Senior Associate Principal and Technical Design Architect in SOM’s New York office, with more
than two decades of experience delivering complex transportation and civic projects. She helped lead the delivery
and coordination of Brightline’s Florida stations, including the MiamiCentral hub, alongside major airport works such
as JFK Terminal 4, LaGuardia’s Central Terminal, and Kansas City International Airport. Jenn lived in Miami for over
two years during Brightline’s construction, providing on-the-ground leadership with contractors, operators, and city
agencies. Her focus on constructability, durability, and passenger experience informed detailing that responds to
South Florida’s heat, storms, and flooding while maintaining clarity of wayfinding and comfort. She brings lessons
from procurement, operations, and post-occupancy feedback to advance resilient, low-carbon mobility and highquality public environments in future transit-oriented projects.
