Whitni Irving, AIA, LEED Green Associate, is an architect and urban designer passionate about the intersection of architecture and diversity. Her mission is to uplift marginalized communities by crafting spaces that inspire and foster connections. Whitni's fascination with urban landscapes and a commitment to enhancing user experiences have been guiding forces throughout her career. Drawing on her wealth of experience, Whitni actively contributes to her community through volunteer work with BosNOMA, serving as President in 2024 and 2025 and through her role on the Architectural Advisory Board for Digital Ready, An Education Administration program that equips minority students with the skills and agency to compete in Boston's innovation economy. She is also a member of the AIA’s (American Institute of Architects) 2025-2026 Next to Lead program and a co-author of Letters to Ms. 1000: Words of Wisdom from African American Women Architects. She earned a Bachelor of Arts at Clemson University, followed by a Master of Architecture and a Master of Urban Design at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Her career includes a range of diverse projects from installations and corporate interiors to campus Master Plans, Life Science fit-outs, and luxury high-rise hotels.
