Andrea is a managing director in the External Investing Group (XIG) within Goldman Sachs Asset Management. She is responsible for manager selection for private equity fund investments. Andrea serves on the XIG Private Equity Primaries Investment Committee and the XIG Multi-Manager Program Investment Committee. She joined Goldman Sachs in 2019 as a vice president in Alternative Investments and Manager Selection and was named managing director in 2023.
Prior to joining the firm, Andrea worked at Rocaton Investment Advisors as a managing director, focused on alternative investments from 2014 until Rocaton’s acquisition by Goldman Sachs in 2019. Before that, she was an investment officer at the Helmsley Charitable Trust for two years. Prior to that, Andrea was a consultant to Poetic License Partners, a fund-of-funds investing in private equity and hedge funds, from 2009 to 2013. Earlier in her career, she worked at Spring Mountain Capital focused on hedge fund and private equity manager selection and direct growth equity investing, and at TIAA-CREF focused on private debt.
Andrea earned a BS in Policy Analysis and Management, with distinction, from Cornell University in 2004. She is a CFA charterholder.
