Izu is a Vice President in Goldman Sachs’ Asset and Wealth Management Division. Prior to joining the firm in 2012, Izu worked for Standard & Poor’s in their Fixed Income Risk Management Division as a Structured Products Valuation and Modeling Analyst. Izu received his BS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia and his MBA with a concentration in Asset Management from the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business, where he graduated with academic distinction. Izu has completed the curriculums for both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations and serves on the Board and Investment Committee for Mount Tamalpais College.
