Kate Mitselmakher is the CEO, Founder & General Partner of Bloccelerate VC, a thesis driven Web3 fund investing in category- defining blockchain companies since 2018. Kate leads the strategy of the fund. She also serves on the board of fund’s portfolio companies. Her personal investment thesis is centered around bringing about self-sovereignty of money, assets, and data leveraging blockchain technology. Since 2018, Bloccelerate has invested in many leading Web3 companies like Quantstamp, ZenLedger, Avalanche, MakerDAO, among others.

Prior to founding Bloccelerate VC, Kate spent ~ 10 years at the world’s largest technology research firm, Gartner (NYSE: IT).

While at Gartner, Kate advised CIOs of some of the largest companies in the world. In her tenure at Gartner, the company grew to 13000 employees and 30+ offices worldwide.
Kate graduated from Harvard University and is regularly featured in Forbes, Geekwire, and at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
