Sheila Gulati is founder and managing director of Tola Capital, a venture capital firm that invests globally in enterprise software companies across multiple stages. She is a seasoned software expert with a wide range of industry experiences, blending financial and strategic acumen with deep knowledge and passion for software businesses. Prior to founding Tola Capital in 2010, Sheila spent over a decade at Microsoft. In her most recent role, she led the company’s enterprise strategy and had ownership for the company’s Database and Developer Platforms and Tools business. Prior to Microsoft, she was an investment banker for Robertson Stephens.
Ms. Gulati received her bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University. She is a second-generation software entrepreneur, having grown up alongside her family’s software company in New York.
