Ivelisse Rodriguez Simon is the Managing Partner of Avante Capital Partners, a Los Angeles-based private credit and structured equity firm she helped launch in 2009. She is responsible for leading the firm’s investment strategy, including sourcing, executing, and managing portfolio investments.

Ivelisse brings over two decades of experience in middle-market debt and equity investing. Prior to Avante, she held investment roles at Palladium Equity Partners, Reliant Equity Partners, and in the investment banking division at Salomon Brothers.

She is a passionate advocate for women, minorities, and underserved communities. She co-founded We Will, a philanthropic organization dedicated to advancing healthcare, education, and financial literacy for underserved women and minorities.

Ivelisse holds a Bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
