Jennifer D. Collins, CMP, is the President & CEO of JDC Events, a company she founded over 25 years ago with a mission to spark transformative change in people's lives. Specializing in curating impactful events for corporate, nonprofit, and government sectors, JDC Events empowers clients to create meaningful connections and communities.

Jennifer’s impact has been recognized with numerous awards, including the BizBash 500 List of Most Influential Event Professionals, the Smart Women in Meetings Award, and the Smart CEO Brava Award. Since 2006, the Washington Business Journal has consistently named JDC Events one of the top meeting and event planning companies in the Washington, D.C. region.

In addition to her industry leadership, Jennifer is the author of Events Spark Change: A Guide to Designing Powerful and Engaging Events. She is passionate about education and leadership serving as Chair of the Dean’s Advisory Board in the School of Communication at her alma mater, The American University. She also contributes to industry standards and best practices as a member of the Events Industry Council CMP Governance Commission and serves as a thought leader for various industry organizations and media. When she is not building transformative experiences, Jennifer can be found traveling, hiking, and spending time on Cape Cod.
