Rob Watson is the Executive Director of the Harvard EdRedesign Lab, a Lecturer at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a Faculty Affiliate of the Bloomberg Center for Cities at Harvard. He leads an interdisciplinary team supporting more than 70 communities nationwide in building cradle-to-career systems of opportunity. Before EdRedesign, Rob consulted for the World Bank, FUSE Corps, the Harvard Kennedy School’s Institute of Politics, the Obama Foundation, and Harlem Children’s Zone. A former Peace Corps volunteer, he co-founded five civil society organizations in Paraguay, including Teach for Paraguay and the country’s first national youth service program.He also co-founded and chairs the Poughkeepsie Children’s Cabinet and serves on the boards of StriveTogether and the Children’s Funding Project. Rob holds degrees from Harvard College, the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and the Harvard Kennedy School.
