Cheryl Gladstone is head of Deutsche Bank’s Community Development Finance Group (CDFG), a mission-driven investing and lending business that sits within the Corporate Bank, overseeing $500mm+ of assets under management. Cheryl drives the strategy and execution of CDFG’s capital deployment, delivering high-impact loans, equity investments, and philanthropy to a broad range of communities in New York City and across the U.S. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Cheryl was a Senior Program Director at Enterprise Community Partners, and the Director of Real Estate and Development at the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce. She began her career as a Senior Policy Analyst at the Times Square Alliance. Cheryl earned her MBA from Columbia Business School and BA in Urban Studies from Stanford University. She lives in Brooklyn, NY.

Jill Gomez
Jill Roche Gomez is the inaugural Executive Director of the Poughkeepsie Children’s Cabinet, a cradle-to-career initiative uniting government, schools, nonprofits, business, philanthropy, families, and youth to reach their collaborative Northstar goal of building pathways to economic mobility. Jill has leads implementation of the Cabinet’s 10-year strategic plan that advances fundraising, data-driven planning, and cross-sector collaboration to connect over 5,000 young people and their families to opportunity each year by 2033.

A results-oriented leader with more than 15 years in the nonprofit sector, Jill previously served six years as Executive Director of the Hunts Point Alliance for Children in the South Bronx, tripling its budget and forging partnerships that improved educational outcomes. Earlier, she worked with Education Pioneers, state education departments, and the New York State Courts.

Jill holds a J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh and an LL.M. in International Law & Human Rights from Maastricht University.

Rosa Lee’s vocational life began at her family’s newspaper, The Itawamba County Times in Mississippi. She and her husband, Kevin Jones, were owners of the Mississippi Business Journal for more than a decade.

With a mid-career shift, they moved to California where she attended seminary, then leading Holy Innocents Episcopal Church in San Francisco for ten years. Under her leadership the adult membership doubled, and the number of children grew from 2 to more than 60.

In 2008 they launched the SOCAP conference, the world’s premier impact investing event. Prior to the pandemic SOCAP brought more than 3,000 people from 60+ countries to San Francisco to work to accelerate the good economy.

In 2014 they, along with Tim Soerens, launched Neighborhood Economics. NE brings people from all sectors together to

De’Amon Harges is the original Roving Listener. He is a social banker. His calling in life is as an artist in a wide variety of ways, including with people. This led to him being hired to do what he was already doing, identifying the gifts, talents, dreams and passions of his neighbors in order to grow community, economy and mutual delight. He continues that work today as a neighbor and as the founder for the Learning Tree, a business he has built with his neighbors that has taken him (and others) around the world to help people remember the ways in which community is present and powerful everywhere - particularly in places where people are pushed to the margins. He serves as a consultant around the country with not-for-profits (public benefit groups), philanthropies, government, and religious organizations. He is a business owner, husband, father, good friend, neighbor, and much more.

Logan Herring
Logan Herring is the CEO of The WRK Group, which includes The Warehouse, REACH Riverside, and Kingswood Community Center. A native of Wilmington’s West Center City, he began working in the Riverside neighborhood in 2016 as Executive Director of Kingswood, recognizing the need for deeper community investment. He helped launch The WRK Group in 2018 to drive Riverside’s holistic revitalization. Today, the organization’s 75 employees deploy over $12 million annually to expand opportunity for residents.

The Warehouse serves youth ages 13–24 with a “For Teens, By Teens” model, while REACH Riverside leads the Purpose Built Communities approach to housing, education, and health. Kingswood, founded in 1946, provides programs “from cradle to cane,” including early learning, after-school support, family services, and senior programming. Logan holds a BA in Business Management from Goucher College and a certificate in Nonprofit Leadership from Boston College.

Tim Hoefer is a Partner as Steadfast, LLC., which supports the missions of not-for-profit organizations. For more than 10 years, Hoefer was president and CEO of the Empire Center for Public Policy, where his work focused on transparency, government reform, accountability and community building. He wrote several papers on those subjects, testified before local and statewide panels, and authored various op-eds. His numerous interviews were featured in print, radio, and broadcast media.

Hoefer serves on the boards of Unite NY and the Saratoga Center for the Family.

Born and raised in Saratoga, he is a native New Yorker. Hoefer has a bachelor’s degree in government & politics from George Mason University and earned his master’s degree in public policy from New England College.

Todd Hornback is CEO and Partner at Cohere, where he champions the “Life-Changing Power of Community” by building places that foster purpose, connection, and resident leadership. A seasoned executive in community development and the nonprofit sector, he previously led Parents Anonymous of Arizona, the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits, and Scottsdale LINKS/Scottsdale Healthcare, and taught at the ASU Lodestar Center.

Todd has founded or chaired multiple civic and philanthropic groups, including the White Tank Mountains Conservancy and Sun Health Foundation, and has served in leadership roles with chambers of commerce, arts councils, school districts, and statewide civic organizations. A Life Member of the Blue Blazer Squadron at Luke AFB, he is also a five-time Arizona Town Hall delegate.

His honors include Scottsdale Leadership’s Frank Hodges Award and Phoenix Business Journal’s Forty Under 40. He holds degrees from National University and San Diego State University, plus executive certificates from Stanford and Harvard.

As President of Together Consulting, Tammie Hoy Hawkins provides leadership and guidance to nonprofit, for-profit, and government entities focused on community economic development initiatives. Utilizing over 25 years of community economic development experience, Tammie provides direct technical assistance and consulting services in the areas of non-profit capacity building, affordable housing, neighborhood development and revitalization, community development finance, and asset building.

As part of her consulting work Tammie served as the Project Manager for the Northside Development Group’s Northside Initiative in Spartanburg, SC, a Purpose Built Community, for over 6 years. Tammie also helped to launch multiple housing trust funds across the southeast. Tammie most recently served as the CEO for CommunityWorks, a Greenville, South Carolina based, state-wide Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI).

Prior to starting Together Consulting in 2012, Tammie worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond as a Community Development Regional Manager.

A Grand Rapids native, Jon brings over 15 years of experience in community development, urban real estate finance, and public administration. Before joining Amplify GR, he led citywide sustainability initiatives, coordinated more than $1 billion in infrastructure investments, and supported the creation of over 300 affordable housing units through innovative public–private partnerships. At Amplify GR, Jon champions efforts across housing, education, jobs & entrepreneurship, and community wellbeing to ensure inclusive neighborhood revitalization. He also serves on several local and state boards focused on housing and equitable development. Jon lives in Grand Rapids with his wife and two children, is a runner, and enjoys finding the newest great restaurants.

Maia Jachimowicz has nearly two decades of experience in government and nonprofit sectors, advancing effective public policy. She is currently Senior Fellow for Public-Private Partnerships at Results for America, leading strategies to improve economic mobility for children and families through federal and state policy. Previously, she served as Senior Advisor on the White House American Rescue Plan Implementation Team, co-developing an economic recovery research agenda that secured $10 million in federal funding for evaluations. Maia also served as Vice President for Evidence-Based Policy Implementation at Results for America, guiding local leaders in evidence-based policy adoption, and spent nearly eight years in Philadelphia city government, including as Director of Policy in the Mayor’s Office. She holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.P.A. from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs.

David Jackson
David A. Jackson is an assistant vice president on the Atlanta Fed’s Community and Economic Development team, focusing on affordable housing and community economic development finance. Prior to joining the Atlanta Fed, Jackson was deputy executive director of the Atlanta Beltline Partnership, helping communities participate in economic opportunities presented by the Beltline. Previously, Jackson served as executive director of the Mary Reynolds Babcock Foundation, and president and chief executive officer of the Atlanta Center for Working Families. He also held positions at the One Economy Corporation, the NYC Department of Housing and Development and the Enterprise Foundation. Jackson holds a BS from the New York Institute of Technology, an MBA from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University, and he has completed a Fannie Mae Foundation fellowship at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government. He is a lecturer at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Tauheedah Jackson
Tauheedah Jackson serves as the Deputy Director of EdRedesign and the inaugural Director of EdRedesign’s Institute for Success Planning at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She brings nearly 24 years of experience working in youth development, local government, philanthropy, school districts, and nonprofits to her role. Tauheedah regularly speaks at convenings and serves as an advisor nationally, given her deep expertise in building, scaling, and sustaining local and national cross-sector collaborative systems, including the Full-Service Communities Schools strategy. As Director, Tauheedah has launched the Institute for Success Planning and fueled the adoption of the Success Planning strategy in local communities nationwide. She serves as a Board Member of the Institute for Educational Leadership and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford. Tauheedah earned her bachelor’s degree from Connecticut College in government and secondary education and master’s degree in education policy and management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Dr. Willie James Jennings is the Andrew W. Mellon Professor of Theology and Africana Studies at Yale University Divinity School. Dr. Jennings is the author of several award winning books, including The Christian Imagination: Theology and the Origins of Race published by Yale University Press, and a Commentary on the Book of Acts published by WJK Press, as well as the book, After Whiteness: An Education in Belonging. Dr. Jennings is completing work on a book entitled Jesus and the Displaced: Race, Theology, and the Built Environment. In addition to being a frequent lecturer at colleges, universities, and seminaries, Dr. Jennings is also a regular workshop leader at conferences. He is also a consultant for the Wabash Center for Teaching and Learning in Theology and Religion, and for the Association of Theological Schools.
