Nehemiah Green leads Global Partnerships for AWS' Underrepresented Founder Startup Business Development (URF BD) team. With over a decade of experience in forming strategic partnerships, Nehemiah drives initiatives to support and empower underrepresented founders and investors.

The URF BD team plays a crucial role in addressing the stark disparities in venture capital funding, where underrepresented founders receive only 3.7% of total VC funding in the U.S.Through strategic partnerships with top venture capital firms, incubators, accelerators, associations, and not-for-profits, Nehemiah and his team ensure that underrepresented founders receive the necessary guidance, support, and technology to grow, and scale. They develop targeted programs and initiatives to address the unmet needs of these founders, working closely with teams across AWS and Amazon.

At Handshake, Patreon, and Code2040, he spearheaded product integrations, new market partnerships, and strategic alliances with Fortune 50 companies like Goldman Sachs, Spotify, and the New York Times. Holding an Ed.M. from Harvard and a BA from Tufts, Nehemiah's background and expertise inform his mission to democratize entrepreneurship and create equitable opportunities in the startup ecosystem.
