César García, serves as the founding Executive Director for Canopy South – a nonprofit organization leading the holistic revitalization of neighborhoods in South Omaha. Over the next several years, Canopy South and their partners will develop over 1,000 new mixed-income units. César comes to the organization with more than 15 years of engineering, project management, and business development experience. In his role as Executive Director, César fosters intentional partnerships with community stakeholders and leads strategic initiatives and projects to ensure the organization’s vision becomes a reality. García serves on several boards of directors and statewide committees.
