Nicole Tuttle is currently the Director of the Cox Pre-K at Charles R. Drew Charter School and an education consultant for Purpose Built Communities, an organization working to eradicate the cycle of intergenerational poverty through a proven neighborhood revitalization model. Drew represents the cradle-to-college pipeline in the East Lake community and is an integral part of this holistic neighborhood revitalization model of Purpose Built Communities. Nicole has been instrumental in her work supporting the education initiatives in East Lake over the course of her 18 years with the organization and now supports other schools across the country to replicate this framework. Prior to this, she worked as a curriculum developer as well as a special education coordinator and teacher. Nicole holds a B.A. in Elementary and Special Education from Duquesne University and a M. Ed. in Learning Disabilities and Behavior Disorders from Georgia State University.
