Olena Borova is the Implementation Manager for the Community Investment Trust (CIT), supporting its national expansion. With over 15 years of experience in education, outreach and marketing, she brings deep expertise in community engagement, financial literacy, and real estate market dynamics. Originally from Ukraine, she moved to the U.S. in 2018 and since joining the CIT in 2021 has played a key role in the pilot East Portland Community Investment Trust, strengthening local ownership and financial mobility.
Olena guides implementers through Feasibility Studies, pre-launch preparation, and onboarding, ensuring long-term sustainability. She also advises on marketing, outreach, education, and impact evaluation, helping organizations scale community ownership models and maximize CIT’s impact nationwide.
