As the SHINE Child Care Facilities Fund Program Manager with the Low Income Investment Fund (LIIF), Dee supports the design and implementation of a grant and technical assistance program that will improve the quality of early learning settings across Harris County!

Dee comes with a wealth of experience in the education and public sectors, from leading a team on several grants to provide business coaching and training aimed at improving the business quality of Greater Houston child care providers. Additionally, she brings experience as an educator and as a paralegal, advocating for Harris County’s unhoused population. She currently has a Master of Public Administration and obtained a Project Management Professional certification.

When she’s not engaged in mom life, Dee loves to read, especially science fiction or fantasy novels. She is a hair naturalista, and if you are a true crime junkie, she recommends checking out the “Crime Junkie” podcast!
