Davon has served his community as a court-appointed member of the Prince William County Zoning Appeals Board and a Commissioner for Virginia Housing. Recognized for his advocacy work, the National Institute of Lobbying and Ethics and the Advocacy Association named him to the top twenty list in 2020 and 2023. He has appeared on CSPAN, syndicated talk shows, and radio and wrote a political column for 12 years. A 12-year veteran and commissioned officer in the U.S. Army National Guard and Reserves, Davon has been married to his wife, Sherri, for 29 years. They have two adult daughters and one grandson.
