Carey Rothschild is the System Director of Community Health Policy and Strategy at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System. She leads the system’s Community Health division, overseeing strategy, community partnerships, and initiatives that improve health outcomes and advance health equity. She works closely with community organizations, healthcare providers, and local leaders to address social drivers of health and barriers to care.
Carey holds a bachelor's degree from UNC Asheville and a Master of Public Health from Tulane University. She is a Riley Institute at Furman University Diversity Fellow, a graduate of Grassroots Leadership Development Institute and serves on numerous boards and committees at the local, state, and national levels, including Northside Development Group, a Purpose Built Communities Network member.
Carey and her husband, Will, are recent empty nesters who love to travel, hike, and spend time in nature.
