Armando X. Orduña, Ed.D. is an entrepreneur working across the spaces of learning & development, retreat facilitation, and program design in social impact. His past leadership roles include executive director of Latinos for Education, Director of Outreach Programs for Children’s Museum Houston, Curriculum Writer and Trainer for Twin Cities Public Television, instructional coach, and science teacher. He chairs the boards of Connect Community—Purpose Built Communities, the Emmy Saenz Foundation providing material support to Spinal Cord Injury survivors, and Houston PFLAG (2024) educating and advocating for LGBTQ+ people and their families. He served on the Teacher Advisory Council for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; He is 2024 Pahara Fellow and American Leadership Forum Fellow (class 62). In 2023, Armando was honored as a Top Latino Leader by the Council for Latino Workplace Equity. In 2012, Armando received the Commitment to Excellence Award, President’s Advisory Commission on Educational Excellence for Hispanics.
