Workshop participants will go on a facilitated site visit to one of the schools in the Connect Community coalition, highlighting the following aspects of the coalition’s education strategy designed to improve the experience of newcomers:

  1. Community of Practice to inform bottom up opportunities for collaboration & impact
  2. Accelerated English language acquisition
  3. Wraparound supports to ensure students can be successful in school
