Daniel Romero brings over 15 years of experience serving diverse communities across San Diego County through the nonprofit and public sectors. His past work has centered on supporting individuals in affordable housing, youth development, workforce programming, family support programs, substance use prevention, and more. In his current role, Daniel serves as a Community Engagement Manager for the County fostering collaboration through bi-directional communication and engagement to identify solutions to behavioral health challenges while working to increase public awareness of available behavioral health resources. Daniel is a proud San Diego native and graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara (BA), and University of San Diego (MA).
