Sarah Lyman has served as Executive Director of Alliance Healthcare Foundation since 2019. She leads initiatives to advance health, economic mobility, and innovation by partnering with communities most impacted by inequities and investing in upstream, systems-level solutions that strengthen wellbeing across San Diego and Imperial Counties.
Previously, Sarah was Executive Vice President of Empire Health Foundation in eastern Washington, where she helped grow the organization and led partnerships improving child welfare, expanding medical education, and advancing cancer research.
She continues to serve in regional health and civic leadership through boards including Catalyst of San Diego & Imperial Counties, SDSU’s Public Health Advisory Board, the San Diego Community Information Exchange Advisory Board, and the board for UC San Diego’s Center for Housing Policy and Design.
