Dr. Elizabeth Hernandez is Director of Public Health Services for the County of San Diego, overseeing operations across key programs including Tuberculosis Control, Maternal and Child Health, HIV/STD Services, and Epidemiology. She leads strategic planning, fiscal oversight, and workforce development for a department of over 775 staff, serving 3.3 million residents. Dr. Hernandez holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Azusa Pacific University and a Masters and Doctorate in Dual Clinical/Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Alliant International University in San Diego, California. Dr. Hernadez brings extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, consulting, and mental health services.
