Susan retired as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Director from the City of San Diego with over 30 years of experience in the disability field. She worked at the National Association of Councils on Developmental Disabilities (NACDD) and was a Public Policy Fellow for the National Council on Disability. Since retirement, she served on the State Council on Developmental Disabilities’ Advisory Committee for San Diego/Imperial, volunteered with the Disability Integration team for Red Cross and now serves on the County’s Committee for Persons with Disabilities. Susan has been living with a physical disability since childhood.
