Jacqueline “Kiki” Bispo is a 20-year public education veteran and the designer and Lead of Vista Unified School District’s nationally recognized Family & Community Engagement (F.A.C.E.) Network, now in its eighth year. Under her leadership, the program has grown from 10 to 28 Community Liaisons and includes three district Family Engagement Centers.
A passionate social justice educator, Kiki is committed to equity and expanding access for marginalized students and families. In 2021, she was named Woman of the Year for California’s 76th Assembly District, representing Oceanside, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Camp Pendleton, and Vista.
Kiki frequently provides professional development on topics such as culture and community, identity development, home visits, and the history of education and social movements in the U.S. She began her career as a high school science teacher in South Central Los Angeles and has since held numerous leadership and instructional roles, including curriculum designer, GED program coordinator, and Blended Learning TOSA.
She holds a B.S. in Psychobiology and an M.Ed. from UCLA and is a proud native of Santa Cruz County.
