Marlissa Herring is a results-driven leader and Executive Director of Fit, Black, and Educated, Inc. (FBE), a nonprofit dedicated to advancing holistic wellness in communities of the African Diaspora. With extensive experience in nonprofit management, business development, and community engagement, she leads FBE’s strategic initiatives, program operations, and fundraising efforts. Marlissa is passionate about closing health equity gaps through culturally rooted fitness programs, mental health support, financial literacy, and historical education. Her dynamic leadership continues to inspire and empower individuals to thrive—physically, mentally, and financially—while building stronger, more resilient communities
