Tinesia Conwright is a dynamic nonprofit leader, workforce strategist, and youth advocate. As Founder of DETOUR Empowers, she has impacted over 3,000 girls through leadership and career development programs, including the FANCY Teen Girls Expo and Ambassador Workforce Program. She also advances equity through workforce initiatives at the San Diego Housing Commission. Honored as California’s 2025 Woman of the Year, Tinesia is a certified coach, DISC/Myers-Briggs facilitator, and published author. With degrees from SDSU and USD, her work blends purpose and strategy to empower young women of color to lead with confidence and create lasting change.
