Lucia Acevedo Gonzales is a San Diego native with nearly 25 years of experience in education, outreach, and advocacy, supporting underrepresented youth in education. She holds a Master’s in Education with a focus on Multicultural Counseling from SDSU and spent over a decade providing counseling and advising services. Currently, as Director of the Crawford Community Connection, a school-based family resource center with SAY San Diego she leads community partnerships and programs that support students’ academic and social-emotional success. Her work is driven by a commitment to empowering students and families to reach their full potential.
