As a social worker and victim advocate, Ashley has over six years of experience in providing support and guidance to survivors of trauma and abuse. In her current role as the Training and Technical Assistance Specialist at Lifeline Community Services she provides training and technical assistance to community members and service providers on recognizing the signs of human trafficking and responding appropriately to include best practice approaches to working with survivors. As a part of Lifeline’s emergency response team, Ashley responds to calls from our San Diego Human Trafficking Task Force, providing in-person victim advocacy, crisis intervention, safety planning, provision of basic needs and linkage to services. She also provides therapeutic services to clients in support of recovery and self-sufficiency.
